Life and Career- He is a Canadian film, television and stage actor. Currently, he resides in Los Angeles. He is best known for playing Lt. Thomas Bale, the micro managing station commander in the final season of TV show “NYPD Blue”. His other notable appearance is in “Suddenly Susan” as male/lead love interest Nate Knaborski. He has also appeared in the recurring role in the TV series “House” as husband of Dr. House’s ex-girlfriend Stacy. His other TV credits include the role of Ted Cofell in “24” and the role of ADA Frank Ginsberg in “Boston Legal”. He has also played Ed Ferrara, Lynett Scavo’s boss in “Desperate Housewives”. Recently, he has played supervisor Richard Ellis, the romantic interest of local chief of police Celia Bachelor in “Men in Trees”. His other guest roles have been in TV series like “Over There”, “Judging Amy”, “Would Be Kings” and “CSI”. His recent projects include his appearance in direct-to-DVD film “Stargate: The Ark of Truth”.
