She has unshakable trust in lawyers working for her that’s why she allows them freedom to adopt their sideways in handling the cases. She is supportive to her staff in every way. She protects her people if some district attorney tries to trap them with unprincipled tactics.

Life and Career- She is a Canadian film and television actress, perhaps, best known for her role in “ER”. She played Jeanie Boulet, a physician assistant in the hospital infected with HIV.  She admits that this role led her to her HIV/AIDS activism. She is daughter of a gospel singer Jamaican mother and an architect father. In her childhood, she started learning piano and later studied music technique and theory, ballet and jazz at the Canadian Royal Conservatory. She started her acting career by modeling in TV ads.

She got her first role in a TV series “The Flash” in 1990. Then in 1992, she contributed in “Wild Orchid II: Two Shades of Blue”. Besides this, she has worked in “Timecop’, “Nick of Time”, “David and Lola”, “Little John”, “Salem Witch Trials”, “1-800 Missing”, “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” and many more.

In 1996, she was chosen one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world by “People” magazine. In year 2000, she sang back up for Tina Turner on her Twenty Four Seven Tour. Currently she can be seen on TNT TV series “Raising the Bar” in the role of Rosalind Whitman.
