Jerry is called to the defense of an HIV-positive man charged with attempted murder after spitting in a police officer’s face. Jerry is unable to get rid of the charge despite the fact that medical research proves that the disease cannot be spread through saliva. Assistant DA Mitch Baker goes up against Jerry in this case and treats Michelle like an overvalued secretary. Charlie is given an invitation from Judge Kessler to accompany her on her vacation to Italy. Meanwhile, Richard and Bobbi must defend a 14 year old in a case where the minor may have inadvertently been involved in a homicide.
