Judge Kessler’s decision to disallow testimony that was to be given by a late witness was determined in the ruling of the Appeals Court to be incorrect. Balco and Roz find themselves faced with the problem of retrying the case where racism may have played a major role. Information concerning Bobbi’s husband Gavin comes to Jerry’s attention and Jerry is faced with the dilemma of whether to tell Bobbi what he has learned or to keep the information to himself. Charlie faces the consequences after clashing with Judge Keller. An elderly woman who made purchases through a TV shopping channel is defended by Richard when the woman is accused of wrongful doing when trying to use checks to pay for the merchandise.
